Thaumatophyllum, formerly known as Philodendrons, is a genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae. Its species are native to northern (tropical) South America. The name derives from the Greek word thaûma or "miracle” and phúllon or “leaf” which refers to the remarkable foliage of its species.
